We appreciate your support of the Liberty Middle School Patriot Athletic Department. Please click on the links to the left to find information on the individual sports offered at Liberty.

Liberty Middle is committed to using best practices and proper safety protocols for our student athletes. The following interscholastic team sports are currently offered for seventh and eighth graders:
  • Football
  • Football Cheerleading
  • Girl's and Boy's 7th & 8th grade Basketball
  • Basketball Cheerleading
  • Track
  • Golf  

In accordance with Ga and FCS guidelines, in order to participate in any sport at Liberty Middle, you must:

a. be academically eligible
b. have a current physical on DragonFly
 
Academic Eligibility:
Students must pass 5 of 7 or 6 of 8 classes to be eligible to try out for any sport per last semester.
 
Physicals:
Physicals are valid for one year from the date of exam. Please make sure you print the entire packet and complete all the information required. 

Students cannot try out or participate in any school sport until all physical forms have been completed and checked.


Athletic and Activities Passes
The FCS activities and athletics passes are now available for both seniors/retirees and veterans.  These passes include half-price admission for one to FCS home athletic events, musicals, plays, band concerts and other special school-sponsored activities. Half-price admission does not extend to play-off games, graduation or PTO/A sponsored events.  Passes are issued at the Central Office.

Adult: $5
Students/children: $5
 
Student Behavior at Athletic Events:
Students who attend athletic events will be accountable to LMS school rules. Students should not leave campus for any reason during an event unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Athlete Emergency Information Sheet (Starting with the 2020 track season, ALL student athletes that are on a Liberty Middle School team must have this sheet on file with your coach. You may print, complete, and return or you can get the form from your coach and take it home to complete)
